Man, that took so much effort. I've finally just finished manually importing entries from my other blog (which I've now deleted) and typing up blog entries from when I was away from home these last 5 and 1/2 months. Thank God it only took me about TWO HOURS!!! Haha, still, I'm not complaining...I love this blog.
I created a new blog when I moved to Singapore last year in August because I felt like a fresh start, but the more I try to run away, the more I realise that you know what? My past IS a part of me. It's not me anymore, it doesn't define me, but it really DID happen and I accept it now.
I WAS a drunk, I WAS an addict, I WAS messed up. But now I'm saved by grace and I really do have a clean slate. So I'm back (not that I think anyone even reads this blog anymore). I ain't running anymore.
Plus, in the last year, God has taken me so far from the person that I used to be that I don't even know who that girl from the past is anymore. Praise Him for transformation and change! Wooo!!!
Check out this awesome blog: Critique My Blog. You submit your blog url and a real life person reads your blog and critiques it. How cool...I submitted it last night, and by this morning, I had already received my critique!
"Lily's story of jumping over barriers and overcoming her alcohol addiction is an inspiring one. For those of you who may have or have been affected my alcoholism you can attest to the intense grip it has over you, even if you want to stop. Her blog chronicles this story along with other sprinklings of ideas and thoughts along the way. As for the blog itself I thought the layout, while cool looking, was a little narrow making the blog seem long in length. I didn't notice any kind of a site meter to see who is visiting your blog which you may want to add just to satisfy your own curiosity...other than that I think the blog is wonderful and just keep taking things one day at a time."
Thanks, Mr. CMB! I will definitely keep in mind the layout next time I change it.
Have to give a huge plug to Ice Angel for this amazing blog layout! You can find more layouts like this over here at Blogskins.com.
I woke up today and went on Skype to meet my friend Abby. It's so amazing...she's in Canada and I'm in Hong Kong, and yet with the help of the internet, we were able to pray with each other long-distance. Could there be anything more wonderful than that? Yes, I'm sure there is, but that is pretty darn wonderful!
At first I thought it was because I was using Beta Blogger, but I've realised that other users of Beta Blogger do not have the same problem as me. On the Technorati page it says 'no blogs link here' and that the last time my blog was updated was 39 days ago (which we all know, is not true at all!). I've tried pinging them manually, but nothing's changed.
Does anyone know what to do?
So first I lost all my comments when I switched to Haloscan, but luckily I managed to retrieve all of them back when I swapped back to Blogger. But now, I thought I'd be 'smart' and 'cool' and test out Blogger Beta. They have these new widgets that you can add onto the sidebar, and whilst messing around with that, I decided to try editing the html of my template.
What a great idea!!!
Now my old layout with the adorably cute bears is gone and I'm stuck with...this. *sigh sigh sigh* Saving the html of my old template doesn't seem to work in Blogger Beta because the coding is different. Funny how I read that but didn't really take that in.
ARGH...I just switched from Blogger comments to Haloscan and somehow I managed to lose all my old comments!!!

I saw a Word Cloud over here at 'This Ain't New York' and immediately went to make my own!
I had to base mine on my old blog though, cuz this one doesn't have nearly enough words written to make a decent Word Cloud. Click here to make your own!
Guess what guys? I'm now part of the Blogging Chicks Blogroll!!! To join or check it out, click here.
Have fun here and make yourself comfortable. I'm so thrilled that you, my reader, have wandered onto here from the big world wide web. Enjoy!
